Delegates from CPA Australia Visits the International School

On November 29th, 2016, Ms. Yin Qian and Ms. Yingjie Lu, Business Development Executive of CPA Australia, visited the International School. They not only had a discussion with the International School about how the CPA Australia will guide accounting-majored students from our school with professional development, how it will contribute to the curriculum construction of accounting courses, but also introduced the cooperation mode and experiences between the CPA Australia and other national well-known universities. Then a member of the CPA Australia called Ms. Zheng Wang presented a wonderful and lively online sharing lecture on professional life for the International School students, and answered students’ questions about future professional development. Ms. Wang is qualified with both the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Australia and the United States Registered Management Accountant. She has very rich business experience, once working for several accounting firms in Singapore including Deloitte and then serving as a senior internal auditor in the Asia-Pacific area. Afterwards, Ms. Yin Qian and Yingjie Lu introduced the CPA Australia in details in terms of its development history, background, course exemption policy as well as the China Honors Project in 2017. It is reported that 10 students from our school have won the CPA Australia Scholarship this year, which highlights the strengths and achievements of the internationalization of our undergraduate education.
