从哈尔滨到加拿大，从念书到写歌再到签约Nettwerk公司。近几年，曲婉婷把大量的弹唱视频上传到视频网站，歌迷们竞相在微博和SNS类网站上转载。曲婉婷的歌声已经漂洋过海，国内外音乐迷都很喜欢听她唱歌，她在国内的几次现场演出的场面出乎意料的火爆，每场都人满为患。

从“我的歌声里”到 Everything In The World
In November, 2009,Nettwerk Music Group is excited to announce the signing of rising Chinese star Wanting Qu to its management, label and publishing rosters. Wanting released her debut full-length studio album Everything In The World on April 24, 2012.
2009年11月，Nettwerk 音乐公司很兴奋地向公司的管理层公布了签约上升的新星曲婉婷以及新的发行唱片的商标和出版名单。2012年4月24号曲婉婷发行了她的首张完整版创作专辑——《Everything In The World》。
Wanting (whose last name Qu means "music, song, melody") started to sing before she could even talk. Her mother recalls, "You would know when she was awake because she’d be singing the theme song from this Chinese TV series called ‘Undercover Cop' loudly in bed to the ceiling.”
曲婉婷（英文名Wanting Qu，她的姓氏“曲”代表着“音乐、歌曲、旋律”）在她还不会讲话的时候就开始唱歌。她妈妈回忆说：“每次你听到她冲着天花板高唱电视剧《便衣警察》的主题曲的时候，你就知道她醒了。”
Wanting left her family and China when she was 16 and entered Canada as an international business student. It wasn't long before she realized her true passion and dream was to become an influential recording artist. She went on to earn her degree in business, but also tried her hand at songwriting in both Chinese and English and began performing in the Toronto area. She relocated to Vancouver, continuing to write and perform at events. It was there that she caught the attention of Nettwerk Music Group, home of such stars as Sarah McLachlan and Dido.
曲婉婷16岁的时候离开家乡中国，以国际商务的学生的身份进入加拿大。不久后她认识到自己对音乐真正的热情和梦想就是成为一个有影响力的音乐家。她坚持完成了自己的学业，获得了商务专业的学位，并且试着用中文和英文作曲，在多伦多地区表演。后来曲婉婷搬到温哥华，继续坚持作曲并且在活动中表演。就在温哥华曲婉婷的表演引起了Nettwerk音乐公司的注意，该公司拥有像Sarah McLachlan（莎拉·麦克拉克兰，加拿大女歌手）和Dido（蒂朵，英国女歌手）这样的明星。
After moving from Toronto to Vancouver in 2005, Wanting started performing original material, written in both Chinese and English, at local venues. It was a combination of raw talent and persistence that caught the attention of Nettwerk CEO Terry McBride, who signed her to a management deal. Says McBride, "Wanting first caught my attention when sent me an email containing demos, and I was immediately captivated by the honesty of the lyrics and the authentic song writing. She has the wonderful ability to seamlessly blend the cultures of East with the melodics of the West, making her a true Asia Pacific artist.
2005年搬到温哥华以后，曲婉婷开始同时用中文和英文创作自己的音乐，并在当地的一些小场地进行表演。Wanting与生俱来的才华和坚持不懈的努力赢得了Nettwerk的CEO Terry Mcbride的赏识，随即Terry一纸合约签下了她。Terry说：“我对Wanting最初有印象是收到她发给我的一封邮件，随附了她的歌曲小样，我马上就被她歌词里透出的直率和她的原创功力征服了。她有超凡的能力可以把东方的文化和西方的曲风完美地融合在一起，这使得她必然成为横跨亚洲太平洋的艺术家。”
Album: Everything In The World
Vancouver-based singer-songwriter, Wanting, releases her first full-length studio album, Everything In The World, on Nettwerk Records. Wanting, a self-taught musician with a voice similar to that of Chantal Kreviazuk, Anna Nalick, and Christina Perri, has been recognized in the early stages of her career. Having already sound-tracked the upcoming Chinese film Love in the Buff, appeared on a Mercedes Benz sampler, and amassed combined views of millions on Chinese YouTube, she is an artist to be on the lookout for. Wanting's piano-swept music has won a following because her compositions pop musings that plumb emotion & resonate universally. The lilting first single "Life Is Like a Song" is a reflection on life s ebbs and flows and the cascading song "Drenched," is about surrendering oneself to love. Meanwhile, "You Exist in My Song," sung in Mandarin, is about old friends alive in one s thoughts.
