JUFE International College Alumni Forest Project
As the saying goes, Those who enjoy the fruits of a tree should think of the one who planted it; those who drink from a river should remember its source.
Once upon a time, we gathered under the shade of trees at the JUFE Campuses, feeling the tranquility of the campus and sharing colorful memories together. Today, let us mark the passage of time, pay tribute to our adolescent times, and cherish the stories of our youth.
The college is launching the Jiangcai International Alumni Forest Donation Project for all alumni of the International College to adopt a tree on campus and express their love for their alma mater.
Located south of the International College building (Zhuzi Square), the lush trees have become one of the iconic landmarks of the Jiaoqiao Campus. The International College has requested for the university to open this area for the first batch of “alumni forests” of the International College.
I. Participants: Alumni classes, clubs, departments, dormitories, families, couples, and individuals of the International College.
II. Donation Amount: Starting from 2024 RMB per tree, with no upper limit.
III. Participation Period: June 1st, 2024 - October 31st, 2024.
IV. Number of Trees for Adoption: 60 trees in total.
V. Adoption Location: South of the International College building (Zhuzi Square), North District of Jiaoqiao Garden.
VI. Naming Period: 3 years.
VII. Activity Process:
Access the donation page through the JUFEr (江财人)” WeChat mini-app, select the JUFE International College Alumni Forest Project to check the project details, and click on Donate to access the donation page.
Fill in the donation amount (starting from 2024 RMB, with no upper limit), the name of the donor (modify the donor's name for group donations), and the donor's mobile phone number. Then fill in the blessing message (due to the size limitation of the donation board, the blessing message should not exceed 16 characters), and finally click on I want to donate at the bottom of the page and follow the prompts to complete the donation process.
JUFE will arrange to hang a customized board (as shown in the below rendering image) with the donor's information and blessings to the alma mater before September 20th, 2024. The order of the board installation will be determined by the time the donor completes the donation in the mini-app. The adopted trees will be maintained by JUFE’s Logistics Department. If the trees wither, need to be relocated or replanted due to force majeure, the school will be responsible for replacing the trees.
VIII. Use of Funds: 30% of the funds raised from this project will be used for the maintenance of the alumni forest, making boards, the purchase of commemorative gifts for exchanging star points, and other project management expenses; 70% of the funds raised will be used for cultural activities when alumni return to campus and extracurricular activities for current International College students, such as career guidance, academic competitions, cultural evenings, and sports competitions.
IX. Acknowledgement
Donors will receive an equivalent number of star points (e.g., if you donate 2024 RMB, the number of star points will automatically increase by 2024 points), which can be exchanged for commemorative gifts through the JUFEr mini-app homepage 积分换礼 section.
The donation platform will generate a special Centennial JUFE Development Fund electronic donation certificate.
If you choose to receive an invoice, you can obtain an electronic donation receipt for public welfare undertakings in Jiangxi Province, which can be used to deduct personal income tax.
